i started this hobby about 7 years with a fish only set up on a 110 gallon at my work (furniture store) now at my home recently for almost a year with my reef of 90 gallons

Patiance! Read Alot, Question everything... buy all the best things at the start so you wont waste money later, Alot of live rock, alot of live sand, alot of water current, and testing is essential! Keep an eye on it often so theres no surprises l8r, It wont happen in a day, it wont happen in a week, mabe a month ;)

Advice:
start slow,dont rush the beginning for it will play a great part in your water quality.If you are going reef start with soft corals and work your way up.Make sure to develop a routine when it comes to maintainance ,change water regularly at least 30%,get a test kit and use it.Always think water quality ,if the water is not clean and the right levels not maintained your livestock will suffer.
