God Bless America, but God help Canada to put up with them!
Fish Kept:
2 Dwarf Gouramis, 4 Platies, 3 Guppies (+8 new baby guppies), 2 neon tetras, 4 corydoras catfish, 2 platinum angels, 2 baby angels, 4 zebra danios
Corals/Plants:
all plastic plants, and many excellent rocks from my local fish outet
Tank Size:
72 gallons
Advice:
Start small, and work your way up. I originally had a 10 gallon tank in high school after a great ecobottle project, and recently upgraded to a bigger tank. I love the responsability even though i have not taken on tougher species yet. My partial mistakes with the small tank make me feel more accountable, as I monitor the tank at every possible moment

Advice:
READ READ READ BEFORE STARTING THEN TEST TEST TEST READ READ READ ADD FISH AND REPEAT PROCESS
I used to work at PetSmart and it amzed me how little information people had when starting up an aquarium. They would buy the fish and tank on the same day as I would throw my self in front of the exit trying to convince them about water cycling. I was lucky enough to have a father who was a microbiologist who specialized in water reclamation his whole life so I had a good grasp on the process but was terrified I couldn't do it. The tank sat in the box for 3 months before I got the courage to "Geter Done"
