Advice:
My advice to new hobbyist would to always get bigger than what you have. For example if you have a 30 gallon aquarium then get a water filter for a 40-60 gallon etc.....it keeps the water so much cleaner and plenty of oxygen in the water! Also, even for freshwater fish, use aquarium salt....all fish need salt and it keeps them healthier longer. Just follow instructions!
