I thought it would be really cool to have a tank in my room so i did my research and went and bought a 55 gallon. I've had the tank for about a year and i've spent alot of money to keep upgrading my tank. I have decreased my tv watching in my room by 95% by getting a tank. I love it

Advice:
Don't buy all your fish at once, give time for the bacteria to develop and leave room for nicer fish.

Advice:
Look at Michael's or Hobby Lobby for plastic plants for your aquariums, they are much cheaper. None of the plants in our tank are from a fish supply store. Learn from your mistakes. Enjoy! No such thing as too much filtration.
