More Info

Country: Canada
Description: A 10 gallon tank, lightly planted. Currently inhabited by 12 neon tetras, an uncountable colony of Blue Neocaridena shrimp and a whole lot of snails from whatever hitch-hikers came along with my plants.
Advice: Take it slow. Don`t stress over things like algae, or `pest snails`. These thing`s actually help keep your water healthy. Don`t focus on chasing gear. More often than not, a simple sponge filter and some plants will serve you just fine. Do your best to avoid cramming big fish into small tanks. Information Is out there. Don`t be scared to try things your way. There is plenty of good advice on the internet, but every situation is different. There are not very many hard and fast rules that apply across the board.
Tank Size: 10 gallons
About Yourself: I have been keeping aquariums most of my adult life. I have had reef tanks, tropical community tanks, planted tanks. Currently, I have reduced my collection down to a single 10 gallon aquarium to help my younger children learn about fish keeping. I have no doubt MTS will kick in soon and send me into a relapse.
