Description: 100gallon/50gallon ref/sump 3x175w MH 10k kelvin Hamilton/ 80w NO 03 Berlin Skimmer/mag 7 cs102 cpr /mag 9.5 165lbs LR 6 powerheads
Advice: Go slow. Do frequent water changes. Clean skimmer often. Don't use bioballs (nitrates). Don't use crushed coral (nitrates) Do use macro algae in the refugium. Gac. Lots of indirect water movement. Jump on crisis' as soon as possible (aiptasia,hair algae,slime,hydroids,etc). Drip Kalk. The basics.

Corals/Plants: candy cane,brain,blasto,favia,frogspawn,hammer,sun coral,zoas,xenia, toadstool,yellow leather,cabbage,acropora,other sps Sebae anemone bta rbta

Looks great. Agree with all your advice except for the bio-ball theory. I have been using them for the last decade or so and have never had a problem with them. Its usually other problems that cause the nitrates. i.e. overfeeding, overpopulation, lack of water changes and no sand bed. Regardless on my views, great job with tank. fish avatar
