Description:
150 gal. freshwater tank. Rena XP4 canister filter cranking 450gph. Rena 400 air pump running two 18inch airstones on each side and a 12inch, 6 LED moonlight airstone combo in the middle. Plants are all fake. My wife found them at a craft store for a 1/4 of the price you pay at a fish store, and they look way more realistic. All the rock in the tank is real though. Most of it I aquired from the creek by my house. The lights are just standard aquarium lights. My next project is to build a canopy with LED lights built into it.
Advice:
Filtration is the key to happiness. Spend as much money as you can on the filter, so you can spend less time cleaning your tank.
Fish Kept:
3 parrot cichlids, 10 assorted african cichlids, 2 rosey barbs, 1 catfish for cleaning purposes
Corals/Plants:
All Fake plastic plants

About Yourself:
Well I started with goldfish as most of us do I suppose. From there each tank got a little bigger and more expensive. But I love just kicking back watching fish after work, theres nothing more relaxing..
