Advice: 1. Keep on reading and get as much information on fishes before and after buying them (CARE SHEETS). 2. When you encounter problems, which you will for sure, dont worry... Get and compare advices from various advanced hobbyists. 3. Make the design look as natural as possible 4. Aquarium is dual purpose for me: a. Pets - Hobby b. Looks good in my place - Make sure you design it well. Good luck!

To gphamdo: Thanks for the compliments.. The snake doesnt get that big. Max length would be approx 2ft. The proper name is Acrochordus granulatus (little file snake). Fly River Turtles can reach up to 1.5ft length. fish avatar
rocks, sand and logs cant beat that, very nice layout that also serves a purpose. never heard of someone puttin a snake in the tank but nice addition. how big does he get as well as the turtle. does he climb out is he more like an eel? thinkin about gettin both. fish avatar
I really like the contrast between the sand substrate and the mangrove roots. A bit minimalistic for my tastes, but very original and inspiring! fish avatar
