Description: My tank is about 30 months old and im a beginner as it comes to plants...getting better and better,I just bought a regulator and bubble counter and tank to replace my diy co2 system,6x48 inch GE fluorescent neons(cheap!)3 plant and aquarium and 3 daylight(i just added some power compact on each side but i don't like the color temp..)I fertilize once week ...I use an aquaclear 500 and a skilter supreme 400 for filtration.A little power head to get to water from one end to the other.i also use a magnum 350 for the micron cartridge once in a while for a week or so.
Advice: Water changes weekly...I found that if you dont wanna learn anything, do your water changes and you should be ok against amonia, nitrite, phosphate etc......GOOD WATER = NO PROBLEMS .
Fish Kept: Between 80 and 90 fish from neons to laoches ,angels, rasboras, hatchets, lots of red nose teras, silver sharks, red tail shark, pencil fish, borneo sucker,a wood shrimp(witch is really cool), etc...quite an assortment and everyone gets along :bought a few seimese algae eaters and some otos..they seem to be doing great..i hope theyll help me with my small algae problem.
Corals/Plants: All natural plants and 90% florite substrate.didn't get around to learning all the names.i know i have java fern on lava rock and amazon swords, some chrismas moss..rest i don't know.. just bought pura phosphate remover,...its awesome..no phosphates=no algae..all my red (brown)algae is dieing after 2 weeks of using product..my plants love it since no algae slows or stops their growth..
Tank Size: 125 gallons
