freshwater fish - cyphotilapia frontosa - frontosa cichlid stocking in 90 gallons tank - The frontosa won the cave fight.
90 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - This is a current photo of our 90 gal tank set in our hallway wall. Although a little blurry, I love this photo because you can see our foot and a half long rope fish swimming up to get a gulp of air. We have: 1 frontosa, 2 yellow labs, 2 royal peacocks, 1 albino peacock, 1 OB hybrid peacock, 1 blue gold Roberti peacock, 1 Rubin red peacock, 1 rainbow fish.
freshwater fish - aulonocara nyassae var. - peacock cichlid, orange blossom stocking in 90 gallons tank - OB peacock hybrid. Was an inch and a half when we got him a year ago, now 4 and half inches. A bold and bossy fish with his tankmates.
freshwater fish - sciaenochromis fryeri - electric blue hap stocking in 90 gallons tank - Blue Ahli. He is difficult to photograph because the light just radiates off of him. This is the best photo we got. He is about six inches long. We had a small Green Terror in the tank when we added Ahli. After seeing his size, our green terror developed a ravenous appetite and grew 3 inches in a few months. Once they became the same size it was time for green terror to move into his own tank.
freshwater fish - nandopsis octofasciatum - jack dempsey stocking in 90 gallons tank - His name is Shep. He is the most peaceful Jack Dempsey there is.
90 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - This is an old photo of our 90 gal freshwater tank, but even though it's old it gives you a good idea of how it is placed in our house. We converted a hallway closet into our "tank room", custom built a stand for the tank and cut a hole in the wall. The house is a loft style, so when you walk into the front door and look up to the second floor you see the tank in the hallway wall.
