i am just wondering how much carbon and ammonia remover i should be placing in my filters? i have read the article on here, it says
"Typically use around 2 cups per 55 gallons. However, you may have to use less or more than this amount depending on your filtration system and the quality of the carbon."
some other places say to use more, some less, and i cant find any suggestions about the ammonia remover.
i have a 110g with about 45 inches of fish in it. i use 2 fulval 403's. so do i even need the ammonia remover if i am doing 10% water change every week?
thanks.

I personally don't think ammonia remover is needed... especially if you are vigilant about cleaning and you aren't anywhere near stocked. Water tests every few days will let you know if ammo is an issue. For carbon, I would fill up one media bag full of black diamond carbon and more if you still smell odor.
