So that's the lower neck/upper back. Any part of the back above the caudia equina (hores tail), which is where the true spinal cord ends and a whole bunch of nerves that look like a horses tail hangs, I think at L1/L2 space is very difficult and dangerous to operate on. My biggest back issue is L1/L2 intravertebral disk. The actual L2 bone looks like a wedge instead of a marshmellow. The disk is all smashed and bulges forward. I had to bend forward for 6 or more hours to do massage at the spa and it really screwed with my back. Now that I'm not doing massages back to back I am doing pretty good. The disk probably isn't bulging as it was before. I also have 3 other lumbar disks that are degenerated so surgury is not an option. In order to operate on the spine to install an artificial disk or to do a fusion they need to cut through a crapload of ligaments which support the spine. For me they would have to fuse the whole back from half way down to my pelvis or there would be no stability (due to the cutting of all the ligaments). I'd be walking around bent over like I was sitting in a chair and I'm not going for that unless I'm completely immobilised.
I need to get back to doing yoga. It is great for healing and strengthening the back and it helps make all the nerves stronger and function better as well.
WTF IS THIS???

i was jus guessing at it, it was listed as 220 back in the day, so i took 20 off for mileage being it was kept in good shape but i wont be able to afford the gas if i get 4.11 gears with only a 3 spd... i would really like a 5 or 6 spd with those gears but trannies are a lil pricey....
BTW a lil coincidental but i also had total acl construction surgery back almost in december.. i tore my acl on halloween in football practice, by february i was walking and by april i ran a 4.8 40 :) i thought that was a worthless piece of knowledge until yall brought it up

yeah - - -working out is what my dr. told me as well - - i bulged a disk once . that was the original injury, i was pushing a 60 lb battery back-up underneith a counter and mid push i felt like i got struck by lightning - - i was on my back for 3 months and then i bought a Weider CrossBow {same thing as a bowflex} only a little nicer, computer controlled - - but i've kinda slacked off and i can tell by the frequency i have to go in to the bone crusher - - there will be an excersize room in the new house .....lol
definately avoid back surgery of any kind as long as you can - - i haven't heard much good about it in my life
take care bud - - this is the only body we get on this go round

It's all good. I'm pretty lazy in general but I do have a really nice racing road bicycle and that is both great for my knee and great cardio excersize. It's at least 10 years old with an Itallian frame and Campagnolo Gold deraliers. The sew up tires are pretty expensive as they're almost impossible to patch if you get a flat, but I managed to get some fix-a-flat goop into them and I haven't had a flat in a while.
I just got a chin-up bar and I'm trying to get back to 30 at a time. I won't say what I can do now. It's pathetic!
Anyway, without all the drinking and pot smoking I'm a lot healthier these days. I eat healthy, I take fish oil, spirulina tabs and a multi-vitamin and mineral, and my doc put me on Cymbalta which cuts my apetite, so it's all good.
I wish I had a home gym. That would be awsome to do like 10 minutes a day. It would make a big difference.

Cymbalta is for bi=polar depression. I also take seroquel which is for psychosis. It's also as of late been prescribed for bi-polar. My doctor gives me samples for free as the daily cost of both these drugs is about $40.
My bike probably cost about $5,000 new about 10-15 years ago. It's classic.
I've got to run. The girlfriend is on my bed mostly nakid. Tomorrow!

It's been a wacko day. I saw like 7 car accidents and people have been acting really weird. My Gf's asleap and the gars and characins (similar to gars) are making a lot of noise in my 100 gallon. They're splashing water out and it's getting on me.
I saw some fish I think would look nice as a school today. I think they're called galaxy rasboras. They're small like tetras and have a really nice pattern of fine dots all over and they're kind of brown/gold. They're supposed to be almost extinct in the wild and these were like 3 for $20. I think maybe 20 would be nice, but that would cost more than 3 diskus, and stealing from this store is not going to happen.
So, maybe 6 would be OK, and maybe I could work out a deal like by supplying them with parisite free mosquito fish or tilapia. I have extra java moss that they don't carry too. Who knows!
I did find a paper grocery bags worth of those blue bio-balls that are used for biological filtration in the garbage today. They have all these holes and surface area for bacteria, and I think they're pretty expensive new. It's great how people throw away so much great stuff.
I'm happy you're having a good night Gumbii!
Boss: I wish I had a group to go biking with. I guess it wouldn't be that hard if I looked on the internet or something. When I was excesizing and doing a lot of yoga I didn't need to take seroquel. I cut the pill in half, then in quarters, and then I just forgot about them. That's where I'm aiming.

I found this cool thing today. It is a plexiglass or something peice of art I guess. It's a tall thin tube basically that you fill with water. A light at the bottom shines up through a rotating disk with different colors so the color of the the water changes constantly. There's also a nice air pump so bubbles rise in the water.
This thing is actually 4 panes of clear plastic glued together to make a square column and it's about 10 inces wide at the bottom and 3 at the top. The whole thing is about 5 feet high.
I don't know if the light part works anymore but I thought it was cool. Maybe I could grow a really tall aquatic plant in it. I don't think there are any fish besides fry that could live in it unfortunatly.
