er er er er er er
a set of rollers and a mild cam will give you 20-30 horse if you have everything else add another 10 with a good intake , and believe it or not you can pull 5 horse by switching to a redline or royal purple oil
if you don't have headers - -get them before the top end rebuild or you'll choke it pretty bad
my only concern is an old stock bottom end - -302's like to twist pretty tight even if they can't handle it and you could wash the bearings and then you got troubles bud

230 is reachin a little without seeing it - -i'd say your in the 180 -200 range, because while everythin you've listed does make it more efficient it really isn't making you much power - - - it's kinda like the kids who put a sticker and fart can on their civic and think they have 400 horse - - -
you have a very good start though - -the 3 spd auto is a nice tranny if it's strong and the 2.73 gear is all cruise man - - -but you need to bump it to 4.11 if you want to be draggin anyone - - -but that creates another whole set of issues, suspension, mileage, turning the engine tighter to get high way speeds out of here etc etc etc

Damned straight. Now we're talkin. I almost died in my 64 VW bug with a suped up 1800cc motor and duel delodo carbs and one of those loud muffelers. I had to wear ear plugs and drive real mellow around cops. I used to take it into parking garages and step on the gas and set off all the alarms. Too bad it didn't go that fast!
I got broad sided by a truck and broke my pelvis in 2 places(crush fractures), I had a huge hematoma in the pelvis, a collapses lung, and lots of ribs broken in many places. The morphine was fun though!

I felt special as they used a police escort to clear the road for the ambulance. I couldn't piss or shit for 5 days because of the hematoma. I loved being in the hospital, all my friends came to see me and I was on the phone when people weren't there. Aren't pneumothorax's fun? When they inflate the lung it feels like a huge scab is being torn out of your chest.
By the way, I wasn't in a thong. It was a bathing suit pulled up so my classmates could draw the muscles on with markers. It was anatomy class at massage school. After that we all used the sauna and swam in the pool. That was the best schooling experience ever! 6 months of daily massages, trips to the blue holes, to the beach, and oh yea, mushroom picking!

How's the knee now Boss? I need another ACL surgery myself. I want to find the best knee surgen because I need them to remove the old screws, shave all the scar tissue out so I can bend the knee all the way, and then install a cadaver graft. It's going to be a lot more work than a simple ACL surgery. I want to be able to run again and sit down on my heels again.
My dad is having a total knee replacement soon. He's 70 somthing and has been in competitave cross country ski racing for years and his knees have blown out many times. They used to remove the whole meniscus and use one of the hamstring muscles for an ACL ligament. Now the surgery for ACL reconstruction is really good. Now they can fix it so the knee is almost as good as it was before the rupture.

actually it's in far better shape than anyone expected - - i got really lucky - -the way the surgen explained it was that i basically pulled everything from 6 inches above to 6 inches below perfectly apart - - -took about 8 months before i could walk normally but it all went back together - - -i'm pretty good at predicting weather, lol, and i can't ride long distance bikes anymore and if i spend a long day on it i know it that night but i could have been in a lot worse shape, my Doctor is very homiopathic and doesn't like to cut unless it's unavoidable, and i think limited cutting is the reason i healed so well - - - took 3 times as long but i don't have to have reocurring issues - - i'll probably end up with replacements like your dad later in life - - the human body is an amazing thing for sure - - -and holy crap YES - - -when they inflated my lung i thought i was gonna die , with almost that entire side of ribs , carcked, broken or bruised - -all juiced up on pain killers or various types and i bent the rail of the bed i was in - - -man i wouldn't wish tha on anyone
you totally functional? i hear nightmares about people with pins and screws that have been cut on......seems like it's a never ending battle of fixing things
my biggest issue is my back - - chiropractor every 3 -4 weeks just to keep me vertical - - i don't know all the terms but my trouble is in the spine right were the ribs hang like 4 inches below C-6 and 8, which i understand is a really hard place to damage?, but of course i did...lol - - good life getting here though hehehehe
