CO2 advice...
I have a CO2 unit connected to my 10 gallon high. I also have and air pump conected...which I would think cancel out the co2. But my Eclipse lid does not let much air into to tank, so there is not much water to air transfer. Does anyone think the CO2 will still benefit my tank? Should I take out the air pump? I am new to the whole planted tank scene... so if you have any best practices to share, it would be much appreciated. Gracias!

CO2 seems a little overkill for a 10 gallon doesn't it?
What sorts of plants are trying to grow?
With an upgraded hood you should be able to have flourishing plants without CO2... someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I too have a 10 gallon planted tank, and Ive got a 13W Mini Compact bulb (60W equivalent), and a 40watt Type C bulb I believe, and my plants go CRAZY. Depending on the plants you want to grow, CO2 may not be needed
