I agree. Look in the classifieds near the pet section for a couple weeks and you might find a great deal.

Pimp, that stuff is just regular epoxy for fiberglass. It dries clear, I was talking about epoxy paint, it comes in different colors and goes right on plywood to make it water proof. They usually use it in large aquariums..
But hey I found a 55 gal. with stand, canopy, filter for $100 in the want-ad digest. The guy lives in Saratoga NY. He is going to send me pictures hopefully on Sunday. :)

Well I'll have to pay a pretty penny for fuel since it's like 1-2 hours away but it's still a good deal.

For some reason I used to find expensive thick beveled glass table tops by the garbage, out by the street, etc. I've found about 5 of different shapes and thicknesses and they would be great for the front of the kind of tank you're thinking of. I haven't seen any in a while though.

Google "garf's 140 gallon reef tank construction". This guy makes tanks for relatively little money and gives the directions. All but the front is plywood.

I got the 90 gallon plans from garf's website. 140 is a little too big for me right now haha. Thanks though.
