Can anyone offer opinions on miracle mudd...Im hearing the bio filtration it offers is barnone the best out there. Any suggestions for incorporating this in a tank that doesnt have a sump? Thanks dudes

idk.. I never had a refugium. I know that the Miracle mudd has hihg iron levels, makes the refugium plants grow faster. I don't really think it'd be a good idea to introduce it to the main tank.
Nuisance algaes might would start growing..But idk.. I never dealed with any of them.

im sure i could be wrong, lol but anything ive read on it or seen it was being used in refugiums - -which to my understanding are cool looking but need to be almost the same size as the display tank they re filtering to be of any use - - - Pimp would be a good one to pose this question too.

i hear the mud is just aragonite with trace elements. . and it cost a arm and a leg. imo i would just use aragonite.. live rock is the bestbio filtration along with sand/aragonite.
