April the Giraffe

It's been amazing watching April and now her baby on the live cam, I saw her give birth live and watched the baby stand for the first time!

Just now there was a girl in there with them and April and baby were both so friendly towards her. I'd love to interact with a giraffe!

I just thought - the baby was born just in time for Easter! :D

Yep! The day before Easter Sunday. I had been hoping she would have her baby on April Fools day or on my birthday though. Lol. I remember there was a false alarm around that time and I was hopeful!

I was just checking out the live cam but I don't see the calf anywhere? Do they take him away at night so April can rest?
