Hi! Awesome forum, have learned a lot just browsing the many topics. I have a question though for anyone who might help me. I had a Marineland 20G tank that was sitting atop an Aqueon Forge stand. This AM I was walking by the tank when I heard an explosion type sound and then water was cascading down. Thankfully, I was able to save most of my guppies, however, the guppy fry was not so lucky. I lost my mind and started scooping water into every bowl and bucket I could find but the stress did them in. I went to Petco and bought me an Aqueon 20G high and have it sitting on the stand. Now, the tank was leveled, however, we live in a really old house and I know for a fact that our hardwood floors move/bounce when we walk over them. Could this have caused it? I'm so scared of setting the new tank and having the same thing happen again. Now, I just looked at the empty tank on the stand and although all 4 corners of it touch the stand, the rest of the rim does not. There's a gap, but i'm not sure if once it is filled the entirety of the black plastic rim will touch the metal surface of the stand. Should I try putting something between the tank and the stand? like i thought a rubber rug that I can cut to fit. I've attached pictures so you can see (well I dunno if the pics will actually show but i can try posting them again after or emailing them to any1). Any suggestions will be most appreciated. Thanks!
