I have a 56 gal column freshwater tank with torpedo barbs, gold barbs, killifish and neon dwarf rainbows. can I add cockatoo dwarf cichlids?

Re: compatability
If the cichlid eats it oh well buy more cichlids there is no reason for anything else. You will yourself think you have a saltwater tank. They are gorgeous and so many species to choose from.

Re: compatability
According to this compatibility chart it should work. Chart: http://www.aquariumlife.net/fish-compat ... -chart.gif
One way to find out is to go on youtube and look up tank setups where people combined those species of fish and ask them. For example this person had a blue ram with barbs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um5-whZ4OLE
This person has dwarf cichlids and rainbowfish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUeiAQlmcZg
