I bought a mag float aquarium clearer for the same reason as anyone else, so your arms don't get wet and its simpler. However, when i got home i noticed the inside part of the cleaning side is just velcro, and looks like a cleaning pad is meant to attach to it, i called my lfs and they said there is no pad. I just want to make sure before i use it because the velcro feels like it wil scratch my tank.

On glass I know it safe I use velcro to replase the old scrubers and thay work fine so more than likely it safe for your tank and thay are grate
