i am looking to upgrade a 7 gal tank to a 20 gal long tank, anyone have any advice on this. Are they any worse or better than a regular 20 gal tank or not at all? also will i need two filters because of the length?
thank!

there is no difference in the tanks really..... it really depends on what fish you have.... if you have fish that dont really spend a lot of time on the bottom then you should get a regular.... it will give them more room to swim in an upper level..... and filter wise, it depend on what you get.. try to get one that is rated for double the gallons.... if you have any more questions just ask.

always buy tanks long and wide unless the fish specifically requires depth
most freshwater fish require long and wide
for a 20 gallon, at least provide 10 times so 200 gallons per hour...Marineland Penguin Bio-Wheel 200 or 350 will work perfectly
as long as the fish are compatible, something like: 6 zebra danios, 4 scissortail tetras and 8 cardinal tetras...be a really cool set up
