I had issues with mollies off and on, like someone said its probably a bad batch. My first mollies were gold mollies bought 2 3 years ago. I still have one out of that batch a male. Then I bought 2 silver males, and then 4 females 2 dalmation and 2 gold. Both silver males died and both dalmations and only 1 of the gold females. Now I have about 40, as the gold female is a breading machine. Have only lost about 1 or 2 since. Been taking buckets to the Pet store every few months. Trust me your better off with out the mollies unless you like the predicament I am in. :) Plus I have never added salt to the water, as some of my other fish don't much like the salt.
