The last time I changed my lights were about 3 days ago. My carbon is new, about 2 days old.

What type of water are you using? building an army of snails and crabs doesn't resolve the problems it just masks it. you need to find the root of the problem. maybe the food your feeding, even if your feeding every other day if the food you buy has phosphate then it could be a problem. Also ther are some carbon that are chemically processed and contain phosphate. you need to find carbon that is heat processed {chemipure} is very good.

okey... Im using RO water from my LPS. I'm Feeding mysis shrimp, I cut them in fourth ( only two fish) and feed it once a day. I rince the food in the sink. The carbon I run is included in the filter pads. I really dont want to empty my filter and wait all theat carbon.

Seems like everthing your doing is right. The only thing i suggest is feeding every other day and adding phosphate remover to your filter. Also add 1 mexican turbo snail they do a really good job cleaning out the hair algae.
Good luck

MY royal gramma is near death. He has white dots all over him, I thought they were copepods or something because he would rub against rock (probly how he got popeye) and get them off. But as soon as he got them all of they came back in the evening. I found him yesterday in a rock COVERED in them and the would every once in a while pop out look around nervously and go one a huge itching spree. and today I found him in the back behind the rock lying there. I thought he was dead but he crammed into a rock that would be impossible to get out.

It's called ich. Your other fish probably has it too. You could save them with hyposalinity. Would you like me to explain more?

dang I was hoping it wasnt ich..... clownfish doesnt has ich. please explain more. the royal gramma is a goner because he crammed him self in a hole where I can get him out. I was really hoping this wouldnt happen. I need something that doesnt require me setting up any extra tanks or holding bins.
