on my 50gal i have 2 metal halides and a 50/50 daylight compact and a actinic compact. im about to set up a 30gal but have a mixture of hard and soft corals what type of lighting can i use other halides? i dont really want to break the bank in lighting on this tank. if i have to then halides will have to be the way to go but if there is a detour that i can take that would be awesome!
