hummm okay.... so when you bend it, it stays? lol this is sounding easy but i just remembered i need to make a spot for my remora and the way the tank top is made is more like a baseball field with the corners of left and right field cut off

no it doesnt stay bent on its own, you would have to build the straight back piece and the sides with 45 degree ells on em and then flex the "bow" piece into that....just like stringing a bow and arrow bow {recurve not a compound, lol}
personally i would go with plexi, then you can cut knotches for your skimmer and even a small feed door in it, take the piece you cut out and glue a little larger piece to it {1/4 inch bigger than the hole} and walla you have a custom top

yeah i dont see myself bending hte pvc until i melt it or glue it or whatever into place.... i could string my old recurve but couldnt shoot it for shit. So does like lowes or home depot like cut the plexi themselves or will i have to do it? Ive never experimented with it so idk if like you use a hack saw or what cuz im thinkin my dremel will melt it like it does everyhting else thats not metal....

do u think drilling a bunch of say 1/4 or 1/8 in holes in the top would be good to let the gas exchange do its thing so i could just leave hte lid on 24/7?

lowes or HD may cut it for you if not any auto glass place will..............check with them first they may have a piece of scrap for next to nothin or free
you could drill holes if you like but if the old top didnt then why do it to the new one?

Makes since to me. I would if I could. I dont see where it would pose a problem. I would try to make it uniform so it doesnt look cheesy.
