HAHA. that would be a sight! I was thinking about setting up my 2.5 gallon and drilling it with an external durso overflow...into a bucket with a skimmer and a return pump....but then I figured it would cost too much for so little.

nano's are friggin awsome !!!! --- when everything is said and done i want to get into doing acrylic work..................i have multiple plans for a 2 gallon display with a fuge to a sump to a return , all in one - - -picture a long tank standing on its end like a column - -it would be approx. 8inches by 8 inches and maybe 3 feet tall
i could use a maxi-jet 1200 as a return pump .............lol

That skimmer is a beast,You will be pulling out cups of dark crap weekly.Octopus skimmers are great.And i 3rd the shutting off of a skimmer for a hour a day,It will make your skimmer work at its best all the time,Calcium won't build up on hoses,injectors ect..
