My friend has just dealt with white spot, and asked me what to do., i suggested my old faithful garlic treatment, which he tried for a day or two, and because he is inpatient stopped using it. But he asked around and got on to an older dude, which put him on to a thing called.
TRI SULFA TABLETS. you crush them up and add to water. three days in you do a water change 20% then add more tablets.
Total treatment 6 days.
After the third day you could see the white spots coming away in clumps in a mucus sort of film and floating up and over the weir.
He followed through on the treatment, and have seen no return to the spots.
He has corals, mainly soft like toadstools and mushies, anemones etc and the only thing that seemed to be effected was the large toadstool. but it was only slightly contracted nothing to worry about,, and once the water was changed out they came good.
Has anyone heard of this treatment????????
