I found glass in my live rock.....I broke a piece to creat a frag..and in the middle was glass.......what in the world should I do with the rock?!?!? The glass would have to be hundreds of years old to be in the middle of a damn rock. it doesnt pose a problem to anything in my tank.....and its still in there.....The rock is now tiny.....about 4x4 inches the glass is just a .
.5x1x.5 piece. its not big....just crazy that I just came about seeing it in the middle of a rock. who knows where it came from! cool stuff man.
rare discovery.....

Yeah, that is pretty weird. Maybe it got struck by lightning and the sand on it crystalized to form glass.

it could be just modern day rubbish (glass) laying on the rock and its just calcified into it. It would be different if its in the middle of the rock rather than close to the surface or on the surface like urs seems to be..
