I have a wild caught Maroon Clown that hosted to my Rose bubble tip without a problem. I heard captive bred clowns may not host anenome's because they weren't raised around them and didn't need them to survive. My father inlaw has two captive bred clowns that won't host his anem's either. Good luck guys

Yup, my GS Maroon clowns are wild caught and the only ones I have ever had that would host.
Also, an anemone is not the only thing they will host. I had a GBTA that my clowns hosted with right away but the nem never was happy with all the flow in my tank so it kept moving around the tank and would sting my corals as it floated around. Anyway, the big female clown was so rough with it that it died so no more nems for me.
The male Maroon now host with a colony of Pink Palythoas and the female hosts with the large Orange Monti Cap.
