keeping corals......chemistry

ive been trying to keep corals on and off for a while now and i want to know exactly what my tank parameters should be, and what product i need to maintain that. i have tests for pH, calcium, nitrate nitrite, ammonia.

its not exact but shoot for

ph 8.2
calcium mid 400s
alk around 8 and 12 / around 173ppm
nitate 0
nitrite 0
ammonia 0

Not much more to add to what Delta said other than PH. Any coral can do well at a PH between 7.7 to 8.6. Most note that higher calcification rates happen in SPS coral with PH in the higher range of 8.1 to 8.4

you wont get o nitrate unless u have a good setup. dont get scared with readings around 10 - 20 or even 30ppm

is there any product that i can buy to set me pH to 8.3 or whatever. ive seen drops used for freshwater tanks, but not for saltwater.

yeah you can get a ph buffer that regulates the ph to a constant. seachem do a ph buffer
