Going Brackish!
I am soon starting the process of converting my tank to brackish water. I have a bunch of monos and a columbian shark that will love the change. I also have a few spotted climbing perch(leopard ctenopoma) and tiger barbs. I know the barbs will do fine the low end of brackish water and the perch fish will thrive as they r very versatile. Has anyone else done this? Has anyone else kept a climbing perch or tiger barb in brackish? What salt levels can they handle w/o jeapordizing their health?

i've seen my LFS just get a bunch of freshwater acclimated mono's and throw them into their SW setups... but i think it's like .3 incriments a week... or i'm not sure really...
hmm.... i remember reading a great article on how it's done... but i can't remember what forum it was... do a google search... but don't take the advice of a writen faq... look for a forum thread that discusses the process...
good luck and enjoy...
