So can I just splice the wire from the pump to the wall...insert the float valve wire...so when its up its off and when its down its on.......Just wondering....cause that would cost a total of around 20 bucks..maybe.

yes you can splice into the plug, i suggest solder than shrink tube so it never fails. or you could just twist the wires together and use electrical tape. that would work just as well
