I used apple cider vinegar on my new (used) tank and it worked like a charm... made the house smell horrible... had to air it out all day, but at least i wasnt breaking my back cleaning the tank... lol

yes i enjoyed spraying the cats - - and yes it works, now they run if they even think i have a spray bottle, i can pick up my Mt Dew and shke it at them and they go away quickly
better than that though - - - i put and empty spray bottle on top of the tank - - -and they won't go near it
