Hello All,
My name is ELI and from Boston, Ma. I came upon your site and here I ‘am. I’m no where NEW to this hobby, I have been keeping fish tanks almost my hole life, well ok when I was older enough. My farther always had tanks, you name it he had it. But now I have a 55G tank with my 2in Tiger Oscar (SPAZZ). He is my 2nd OSCAR, my 1st one passed about 2 months ago with no signs of being sick, my water was always pristine. He was about 10IN... R.I.P CRONIC. Well that’s about it, I did upload a picture of my tank when I signs up to your site.
Thanks,
ELI
Just want to introduce myself!!!

HAHA, Nice try with the car.. It is a 2005 Pontiac Grand AM GT...But anyway 1 Oscar needs the minimum of 55G with no tank mates. I’m on another forum www.oscarfish.com, and that is what we go by.. But thanks for the welcome..

Cool oscar, I have always secretly wanted an albino oscar. They are coool and some can get HUGE! I would say 55g is more than fine.

Ya my 1st Oscar was a Albino, but it is called a Lutino. REAL ALBINO'S are rear to come by. But he got to 10IN, and then passed away for no reason I could find. I check my water every 2 days, and do WaterChanges every Saturday or if my Nitriates get to 20PPM. But anyway thanks for the welcomes

Is there a difference between the white ones and albino ones? I just thought they were both albino? Didn't know they were different.

Well TRUE ALBINO'S are all white with red eyes, A Lutino is just like a TIGER Oscar, but is white instead of the back and does not have red eyes. A real ALBINO has no orange lines, you know like a tiger.. Just allll white.
