Damn. Those are beautiful fish. looks like peat based soil too.

That's what I've been telling them, I guess that ''fish hearing you talk'' thread made an impression on me. lol I can only hope I continue looking like a dumbass for a few more years, and these two decide to hang around.

They're still kicking and looking healthy. Better track record than any of the gouramis or previous ram...Guess teh removal of all possibly toxic products, and any antagonizing fish did the trick...?! Now if I could just figure out how not to get hosed by LFS owners...

speaking of that...I sent my girlfriend out for some red tiger lotus on your recommendation PK since she was gonna be in the area of the only place I could figure would carry them. She came back with ''dwarf lilies''. They are red but supposedly the bulbs rot in temps over 70F(this tank is 81)....the owner didn't carry Red Tiger Lotus. Go figure. We'll see how long these last.
