Help with light up my fish tank

Hi

i have a fish tank its 18x10x10 inchs its a clear seal fish tank and i do not know what type of light i need and how do i fit one to my lid.

That all depends on what you're keeping in your tank, just fish, some live plants, It can make a huge difference on the lighting you should choose. p.s. what kind of cover do you have?

Why don't you go to a good aquarium store and see what they use, and yea, are you planning to grow plants? I love plants, they aid in the biological cycle, they're beautiful, and fish love them. Peter
