Oh yea? What's your plans for fish or what fish do you have? I miss the 10 gallon I had 6 years ago with beach sand and pebbles as substaight. There were anubias growing on rocks and a strong powerhead making current. I watched it like people watch TV as I listned to the radio about the Iraq war.

This is serious, Just make sure no one attempts to carry the tank with the water in it. Its extremely dangerous.

Peter: Im probably going to just keep it open for breeder/hospital for my africans because I have corals all in it now, but who knows I might get tired of seeing nothing in it and go to the store to get some tetras or something. I'll take a pic of it with the corals and post it soon.
Monkey, I actually lifted it today and it spilled all over the counter haha.

They may not be mad. I have my 30 gallon on the countertop. Countertops work great. The tank isn't all that wide, just long and fits just right on the countertop and goes down to the sink and have a lot of countertop room in front of the aquarium. Gives you something to look out while cooking or doing dishes.

I'd be afraid of getting any number of edible but not, er,...fish able substances in there. like say vinegar, butter, or fry grease. mmm. Prep the fish right from the tank...

Actually I think it is a 5 gallon now that I look at it.. As for stocking it, I believe I might put a couple altolamprologus calvus, they have some at my LPS that are less than an inch for $19.99. Then I might wait till they get 3" and put them in with my mbuna 30 gal tank. Another idea is to buy a few dwarf cichlids and make it their home. If all else fails I will get some cardinal tetras, they are awesome looking and great schoolers. Any suggestions?

A. calvus are no joke... if they are wild caught they need very good water at at least 8.8 PH or higher... i have my lake tangs at 9.1PH and the GH/KH at the high scale of the spectrum... also they are some of the most sensetive fish from that lake... they do grow really slow, but putting them in that tank will stunt thier growth dramaticly...
just put them into your mbuna tank if you really like they... they will do fine if you have plenty of hiding space... they are fast fish and can protect themselves...
