Nice looking tank. Real simplified and uncluttered. I like your centerpiece driftwood. Got a pretty unique shape.

yeah the driftwood i bought out of a discus tank fro one of the local LFS here, say it and just had to have it and since it was an established aquarium it will help speed up my cycle and i wont have to deal with any leaching

nice tank.... keep an eye on ph... i had issues with extremely low ph due to a wood i picked up from an lfs that had it established in their showtank. I got three pieces and only one had the ph issue attached to it, so just an fyi

yeah i use a PH stabilizer with my water changes to keep everything check.
Adding the plants really helped lower my ammonia to o was really surprised. was getting a spike and water was starting to get a little cloudy i added the plants and wood did a small 10% water change and the next morning the water was crystal clear and all there was no trace of ammonia.
going monday to get some moss to see if i can get it to grow on my wood.

i personally wouldn't use ph stabilizer, the more chems u use the harder it becomes to maintain your water parameters. Not to mention chems have adverse affects on other parameters in your tank, so you become enslaved to adding chems every day needlessly... why are you adding the stabilizer again? whats the problem with your water that ph is swinging?
