what is this coral?

I bought this frag/thought it was a leather/but it is as hard as a rock/what do you guys think?/are little leathers hard?It definitely never opens up like my other leathers? any help would be great. thanks. tarpon I am going to post the pics on my profile. I wasn't able to do it here.
