I think I might be a daddy soon
Its a funny thing to watch but my bigger clown will charge at the smaller one and the smaller one will face straight up and start doing this seizer like swimming. are they trying to mate? and if they are what should i do so the little guys survive?

i dont know if they are mateing ...but they are definately postureing....which is to say courting ...so mateing might not be far off...........the larger one is your female ...so keep an eye on her....as far as what to do if she lays eggs...i'd get another tank cycleing as soon as you see eggs..use your exsisting tank water and set up a breeder tank....then you can catch the fry and raise them in the breeder tank for a while.....lol then you need to figure out what your going to do with 20-30-40-50 baby clowns...................... good luck keep us posted ..Boss

posturing can mean a bunch of different things........courting, "how you doin?" lol or simply a submissive action for the female to assert on the male......i have 3 clowns the largest being the female the next being the male and the smallest being a "unic" if you will...................should something happen to the female the male will change to female and the drone to the male.........so it could somply be a display of the "pecking order" ....... or one clown showing off to see who gets to be the male if they are of similar size..........Boss
