Leather coral
I have this leather coral, he looks like shit for days at a time, he will even collect a little agae that the tang helps himself to, but then in a day or so he will be back to his normal self in full bloom, whats his problem? should i move him closer to the sand? or is this normal for leathers

it may need more current or diffrent current nothing should settel on a coral detritus, algae ect, also its normal for leathers to shed..what type of leather is this?

not exactly sure what kind, i got him from joe, it was one of the first ones i got. i think he said cup maybe. i just upgraded my circulation from the penguin 550 to a hydor koralia 2, but i just got it so ill see if this helps

I just put a Hydor korlia Nano power head in my tank ......because of this post, lol I'm interested to see you opinion after some time along with my findings...Boss

those are toadstools.what color are they? they also like current make sure the water is crashing around them not pointed right at em.. and they should open right up.

they are like a bluish white kinda color, its sorta hard to describe the color, well hopefully that koralia help them out
