AAHHHHHH!!!!!!! - - -seems that cameras and aquariums don't get along real well.....the one thing that worked for me was.......dark room except for tank lights, and i put my finger in front of the flash about 1/4 inch out {so it still flashes but doesn't reflect in the glass...............other than that, remember that we are limited to 500K for picture size...which mean s i have to set my 8.0 megapixel camera down to 2.1 megapixels just to get it to fit.........im hopeing they expand the size restriction so we can post nicer pics one of these days.........Boss

after another trip to my lfs and another test my kh is pretty high 22 drops could this be a problem. this is after a 50% water change during the last 2 weeks
after having the same talk i have had here. his advice was- as good of a filter the fluval-405 is its not giving me the adequate filtration i need.
a sump is the way he would like me to go and i believe him but it is out of the question the ole lady is not hearing the risk of a overflow and no matter what i say thats the law.
so my question now is about adding the eheim wet/dry filtration model 2229 $329.99 at (drs.fostersmith.com) along with my fluval 405 should this be adequate and if not what other options r out there

the 405 is good for "up to" 100 gallons...i agree that you might be a little short - - -the ehiem filter your looking at is an awsome looking piece of equipment - and is good for 158 gallons - i would say if you can spend that money than do so........in the interum....a good old fashion HOB filter can do a lot, and at a fraction of the cost.....ive got a hagen 110 on my 20 gallon tank for 55 bucks.....good luck bud, Boss
