Are fish from the pet store "feeder" tank healthy enough to put with my current fish or could they be full of parasites? I'm supposing that a lengthy quarantine is needed first at least?

What kind of fish are they?

Personally I would quarantine every time, no matter where I got the fish from. Just not worth the risk if there's any chance the new inhabitants could have something that could wreck havoc on your tank.
