Platys are placid?

Are platys placid in behavior? Generally more than swordfish? Swordfish always seem a little boisterous to me but I don't know if this is typical of the species?

I think male swords can be aggressive if you don't have enough barriers (decorations) to break up visual lines.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say they're placid but they're somewhat peaceful. They can certainly chase other fish or nip but they're generally okay as long as they're not overcrowded. I've had pregnant females do some chasing before and males bully other fish but nothing really aggressive.

Platys are placid?
