My wrasse escaped
Do you think my wrasse will be okay? I found him on the carpet and I don't know how long he had been out of the tank I put him back in... he doesn't look so good but I'm telling myself that it's probably to be expected and he'll recover from it soon...

I had this happen with an eel but it was fine after a couple of days. I think this is common with eels, for them to recover after their escape, but I'm not sure how delicate wrasses are in this sense.

Unfortunately this is a problem with wrasses - they're escape artists! But on the plus side there's a good chance of recovery if they're found alive.

Wrasses are incredibly underrated jumpers! I jokingly call them suicide fish. Sad but true. I suspect it's sometimes due to stress.
