Other "watching" types of animals

by friend_of_fish

Something I've noticed before is that fish people tend to be more interested in the type of animals you mainly watch than the average person is. Like reptiles, amphibians, inverts, etc. Probably because, if you're really interested in fish then you don't mind having animals that you can't cuddle.

Personally, I like both cuddly pets and watching types of pets. What about you?

Yeah, I've noticed some people can't really understand what the point is with pets that you can't pet, pick up and intensely interact with. But what's wrong with having both?! I mean I could understand if you had to choose between the two, but if not...

Yeah, I have some pets that are more for watching than playing with. My fish of course, turtles, snails etc. They're all fascinating and offer different things. What's that saying - the spice of life is variety? :)

Do saltwater inverts count? I love them!
