I have just bought 2 dalmation mollies 1 male - 1 female 3 days ago, when i looked at the female its got a slightly big belly, is this normal in females as the male is thin, or is the female pregnant? i have looked at pictures but these are all in the late stages of the pregnancy, there is none in the early stage. please help..

Some female fish tend to have a slighty more, almost imperceptible, roundness to them. However, mollys are very prolific breeders, so i'd say if she is looking round, there is a good chance she is pregnant.
