ok so 1 of my african cichlids have mouth full of fry. wates good but my q is since she wont eat n therefore dont s#!* would it b safe to remove the filter so when she spits em out they wont get sucked up?my other idea was to take a nylon cut it n rubberband it around filter,, any suggestion cuz i have a lfs willing to buy babies n its not a chain store like petblo or petfart

They should be alright, just be careful with her breeding too much. If you let her breed too often she may end up starving herself to death. My dad has had that happen before.
