Silver Dollars are of the characin family which include pencilfish, tetras...so these two types of fish would be perfect as co-habitants
a school of 6-8 of tetras (any kind you choose) and a school of 6-8 pencilfish (which ever ones you choose, only about two types) would be a perfect combination for a school of 6 Silver Dollars in a 125 gallon tank
add some wood, rocks/ledges/caves and live plants (preferably tall plants)....and you'd have an awesome layout
