no its from uneaten food,i took a weeks vacation in early july n had sum 1 feeding my pets while gone.n when i cleaned gravel i found LOTS of uneaten food. the cichlid pellets dont disolve like flakes n the parasites were so tiny by the time i realised i had them,they were everywhere!!!! but its all good now,fish r fine n tank got a good cleaning and rescape.
